What we collect
Anonymous usage statistics: page views, the type of conversion run, and the requesting IP address — kept only for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. No tracking cookies, no fingerprinting, no behavioural analytics SaaS.
What we don't collect
File contents, file names, email addresses, names, or account information. There is no signup, so there is nothing to leak.
File handling
Uploaded files stay in memory or on a short-lived temporary disk for the duration of the conversion only. They are deleted within minutes of the response being sent, and they are never forwarded to third parties or used to train models.
Cookies
Strictly necessary only: a single rate-limit token to enforce the 10 conversions per day per IP quota. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no consent banner needed under GDPR for strictly necessary storage.
Third parties
None in v0. BastosConvert runs on its own infrastructure and does not embed any analytics SaaS or CDN that sees the contents of uploaded files. If a third-party CDN is ever added in front of static assets, this section will be updated.
Data subject rights
Under GDPR and equivalent regulations, you have the right to information, access, rectification, and deletion of personal data. Since BastosConvert stores nothing about you long-term, deletion requests are a no-op — there is nothing to delete. You can still contact us to confirm this in writing.
